In our kitchen, each curry is prepared individually with different combination of spices. The style of cooking and presentation is original and authentic with fresh herbs and spices.

You may not find our recipes in cookery books. It is based on family traditions
that is handed down through generations.

Seating capacity

The maharaja has a seating capacity of 100 people and a free function room which can accommodate another 30 people.

HOW TO FIND US
The Maharaja is in Liverpool city centre (34-36 London road, where Hotham Street meets with London road) close to the Lime Street Railway Station and the National Express Coach station. The Odeon cinema and the famous Empire Theatre are only two minutes walking distance from them Maharaja. This makes the Maharaja an ideal venue for a pre/after theater meal.

Car parking is easy, with 3 car parks within 2 minutes walking distance.

The parking on the Hotham Street is free after 6.00pm

Top tips for booking at the maharaja
getting into Liverpool’s top restaurants can be tough. Here are some top tips for booking success:

  • Book in advance. Maharaja takes reservations prior to the requested booking date.
  • Look for alternative days. Friday and Saturday evenings are the most popular times to dine out. Try dining earlier in the week – Mondays to Thursdays are good bets.
  • Be flexible with times. The most popular booking times are in the mid-evening, so take a look at dining earlier in the evening or even late at night, around 10pm or after.
